I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have four Grand children, three girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too.
with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum.
Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him.
I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have a daughter, Aurora, born March 2015.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. xxxx
Well, Autumn has arrived here, I have had to get my cardigans and long pants out of their storage boxes.
Still hot during the day but a definite chill in the air morning and evening.
We went out last night just after dinner and I had to wear a cardigan, although we sat outside at the bar and once the wind had dropped I could remove it, nice and warm again.
Back later for another challenge.
I think they look quite pretty and I hope to sell some at the craft fayre in November at the local English bar.
I think one of these would look so pretty on a card, either as the focal point or as an embellishment on the side.
And, I really enjoyed making them.
Well I hope anyone that has been flying over the last few days has got where they need to go. My heart goes out to my friend Val, her flight was cancelled due to French air traffic controllers and she can't get home on another flight until Sunday.
I took some neighbours to airport last night as they were told to turn up on time even if there were delays.
Well I,m home after a wonderful trip to see new Grandaughter and all the family, both in North West and Corby, and,
John Next Door and Ang aka Mrs. Duck.
I made these hair bows for Hollie, Tess and Aurora before I left.
And finally this gorgeous lace flower.
Lots of goodies to unpack today and find a home for.
I think we need to build an extension!!!!!
I bought lots of John next Doors's Stamps and emboss folders, a stamping platform which I cant wait to try as my sister bought one and she loves it. Cheap paper pads from various shops.
I won a voucher from Crafty Ribbons so lots of seam binding in various colours.
Mrs Duck gave me some gorgeous ribbon too.
I,m so lucky to know such wonderful people.
Cant wait to get stuck into my new stuff but got a busy week ahead with other stuff.
